Philosopher painting rated as a rediscovered Fragonard

A painting by the French 18th century artist Jean-Honoré Fragonard (1732-1806) was discovered last January hanging on the wall in a local home.

It will now be offered by Enchères Champagne d’Epernay on June 26 with an estimate of €1.5m-2m.
