Highlights included this late 19th century French 18ct gold, rose-cut diamond and enamel novelty brooch designed as a pave-set diamond cat, with emerald eyes, ruby nose and enamel tongue, wrapped around an enamel and diamond mandolin.
In good condition, it sold for £5500 – well over its estimate of £1500-2000.
