The collection, which Dr Fisher – renowned director of the Lincoln Park Zoo and a well-known Chicago personality – and his late wife Wendy amassed together throughout their lives, features 98 lots of primarily Inuit art, including sculptures, prints, and one original drawing.

The works mainly centre on animals and human-animal transformations as subject matter. Among the pieces offered is The Caribou Hunter by Judas Ullulaq (1937-99), an 18½in (47cm) high signed sculpture in carved stone with bone elements.

Estimate $15,000-20,000.
