The gold ground panel, decorated with three leopards drinking from a pool of water bordered by plants and preserved in its original frame, is unpublished but its subject matter is characteristic of the artist who liked to portray exotic wild animals such as big cats, monkeys and reptiles.

The panel, which measures 2ft 10in x 5ft 8in (87cm x 1.75m) including the frame and is signed lower left, has an estimate of €60,000-80,000.
