Heinemann first of 'Present Laughter', one of two Noel Coward plays that made up a lot sold for £1600 at Toovey’s.
It came to the West Sussex auction rooms from the estate of the plays’ props manager, ‘Matt’ Bell, as did a 1943, Heinemann edition of This Happy Breed, again signed by Coward and the entire cast.
The sale took place on November 11.
