Fledgling Brussels auction house sells €800,000 altarpiece

A large 15th century altarpiece from a church in southern Belgium has been sold in Brussels for a six figure sum.

The unusual altarpiece sold for a hammer price of €800,000/£727,300 (plus 30% buyer’s premium).
