It was custom made for a 2ft 2in x 20in (66 x 51cm) signed lithograph, Blind Botanist, by Ben Shahn (1898-1969), an artist who was a friend to the Nakashima family. The 3ft x 22in (91.5 x 56cm) frame is inscribed George Nakashima to the upper right and Stephenson to the verso.
Estimate $4000-6000.
