Her work set a new record for a living ceramic artist with the sale of the 1988 Angled Mixed Coloured Piece for £200,000 at Maak in November last year.
These two pieces come from a private Somerset collection of studio ceramics and glass. A trademark globular vase with a carbonised and burnished glaze dated 1984 is estimated at £3000-5000 while pictured here is a 13½in (34cm) form in rich orange dated 1985, guided at £5000-7000.
