A selection of Setters memorabilia came up for sale in Stacey’s (20% buyer’s premium) sale of football memorabilia on October 25-26.
Top lot was actually a shirt worn by Setters’ Man Utd teammate Denis Law. This Scotland match-worn short-sleeve home shirt, with SFA cloth breast badge and the number 10 to the back, was given by Law to Setters sometime in the early 1960s.
It sold for £9500 against an estimate of £800-1000.
