Dealers will be able to offer items via an auction format from this month.
The purchasing format will run alongside the existing e-commerce platform at 1stdibs.co.uk/auctions.
1stDibs Auctions will cover all categories from furniture, art, jewellery, watches, handbags and fashion and to mark the launch 1stDibs has teamed up with interior designer Jonathan Adler and fashion specialist Simon Doonan to curate a collection for auction.
