He is standing at his very first fair and plans to take a broad range of decorative and historical pieces.

Rich left art insurance three years ago to become a dealer in fine art, saying: “I won the BBC’s Antiques Master quiz show in 2011 and in 2014 I guest-curated an exhibition of Napoleonic items at Sir John Soane’s Museum in London

Alexander Rich won the BBC’s Antiques Master quiz show in 2011.

Rich added: “My institutional sales include a 19th century silver members’ badge for the Wimbledon Skating Club to the Museum of Wimbledon and a 19th century depiction of Neapolitans roasting artichokes which I sold to the Fondation Custodia in Paris.”

Henley Décor Fair runs from Thursday to Sunday, September 23-26, at Greenlands Park, Henley-on-Thames.
