This oval albumen print of Julia Jackson (Mrs Herbert Duckworth), 1867, is guided at £10,000-15,000 in South Cerney, Gloucestershire.
It was gifted to the owner by the British artist and writer Angelica Vanessa Garnett (née Bell, 1918-2012), daughter of Duncan Grant and Vanessa Bell, and granddaughter of the subject by her second marriage to Leslie Stephen.

Julia Margaret Cameron albumen print, c.1864, titled Madonna Group with Alice & Elizabeth Keown, offered at Chiswick Auctions with three other Cameron photos estimated at £12,000-15,000.
The sale at Chiswick Auctions on May 24 includes a previously unrecorded work by Cameron, one that does not appear in the Julian Cox and Colin Ford catalogue raisonné Julia Margaret Cameron: The Complete Photographs (2003).
This albumem print, c.1864, titled Madonna Group with Alice & Elizabeth Keown, surfaced a couple of years back at auction in Dorset when it sold together with three other Cameron photos for £8000.
The images have a provenance to Caroline Byng Lucas (1886-1967) and her older sister Frances Byng Stamper (1882-1968), who together established the Millers Gallery in Lewes.
The quartet comes for sale with a guide of £12,000-15,000.
