On Saturday and Sunday, July 30-31, Melford Antiques Fairs are at The Old School in the village, while Graham Turner offers his datelined pre-1930s Wednesday antiques fairs in the Memorial Hall on August 3 where Missing Book Fairs are too on Saturday, July 30.
One of the best-known places in Suffolk is Southwold, which hosts its annual antiques fair on the Green on Sunday, August 7, the same day as Best of Fairs will be at Copdock, near Ipswich with its antiques and collectors’ fair at the village hall.

Carmarthen event
In Wales, the crowds will be gathering at the United Counties Showground in Carmarthen on Sunday, August 7, for the United Counties Antiques and Fleamarket.
Arrive early and bag a bargain, say the showground organisers.
Entry is 10am with the market closing at 6pm.
