The runners are looking good at the new three-day Ascot Antiques & Interior Design Show.

Sixty high-end dealers are taking space at the launch of this event taking place at Ascot Racecourse on Friday, August 19 (trade day), and Saturday and Sunday, August 20-21.

It is a first at the venue from fair organiser David Steel of Tree of Ages, in conjunction with East Sussex Art Deco dealer Bill Jones.

Exhibitors setting out their stands include Lee Williamson of Cougar Antiques, David Hickmet of Hickmet Fine Arts and Linda and John Finch of Finchy Vintage.

Fourth-generation antiques dealer Jon Irvine from Bournemouth will offer this c.1900 sterling silver cigarette case with a handpainted image of a dancer adjusting her ballet pumps, priced at £935 at the Ascot Antiques & Interior Design Show.
