A five-day viewing for its sales opens to the public in Paris on Friday, June 10, and runs until Tuesday, June 14.

On offer are more than 1200 lots from the famous couturier and art collector to be offered across six sales: four live auctions taking place on June 14, 15, 16 and 17 and two online sales running from June 8-22 and June 8-23.

The collection includes sculpture and paintings from Old Masters to Modern and Contemporary works from two of de Givenchy’s homes — the Hôtel d'Orrouer in Paris and the Château du Jonchet in the Loire Valley.

De Givenchy (1927-2018) also known as ‘Le Grand Hubert’ in reference to his 6ft 6in height, was a dedicated collector of art and antiques and spent years restoring and decorating his grand houses.
