Two were offered as part of the 425-lot Poster Auctions International (20% buyer’s premium) sale in New York on March 20. His 1930 design sold for $36,000/£27,400 (estimate $25,000-30,000), and the 1932 image for $31,200/£23,700 (guide $20,000-25,000).

Among the lots produced earlier was Henri de Toulouse-Lautrec’s 1898 L’Automobiliste which was available for the first time at auction. Against an estimate of $40,000-50,000, the lithograph took $72,000 (£54,700).
