Plenty of eager buyers at the biannual antiques and collectables fair organised by Fire Kettle Events at a garden centre.
Launched by Anne Marriner and her business partner Sally Ross back in 2017, apart from a break during the pandemic the events have run continuously, attracting nearly 2000 visitors at each fair. Around 40 dealers take part each time.
The next is on Saturday and Sunday, October 15-16. They take place in a huge greenhouse “just right for showing off pieces”, said Marriner.
