A week later, on July 7 at Sheffield Auction Gallery (20% buyer’s premium), the lot shown here including an early 19th century scissor sellers order book, with many ink drawings of scissors and files, prices, notes, neatly hand written and dating back to 1803, also featured George Wolstenholm bill heads.
Offered with ledgers and other documents, the lot estimated at £50-100 sold for 26 times the top estimate at £2600.
