The late Malcolm Hord, a former chief executive of LAPADA.
He had been suffering from declining health for some time but had maintained a supported but active and independent life until very recently.
He leaves behind his two stepsons Quentin and Marcus, grandchildren Sophie and Jasper and sister Gillian and their families.
Malcolm’s wife Liz, who was also well-known in LAPADA circles, also died on Remembrance Sunday, 14 years ago.
He will be very much missed by all in the family and fondly remembered by all who knew and worked with him at LAPADA and the wider art and antiques community.
There will be a private family funeral shortly and a memorial service will be held on Friday, January 12, 2024, at St Mary The Virgin Church, Bruton, Somerset.
His stepson Quentin Browell’s address is 42 Lyncombe Hill, Bath, BA2 4PH.
