Henrietta Lewis, Alan Knight and Wendy and Alf Faulkner launched Aspal Antiques at the 140-acre Stonham Barns Park in 2021. They have now started the Aspal Emporium on the same site, which includes a reclamation yard at the entrance.

Lewis said: “The building opposite Aspal Antiques became vacant and we decided to set up a second centre. There was immediate interest and the Aspal Emporium had 18 traders on opening who have taken space selling militaria, vintage toys, clothes, industrial lighting, midcentury glassware, antiques and art. Between the two outlets we now house more than 30 traders. “We have had a lot of feedback about how interesting the emporium looks and the range of stock on offer.”

Lewis and Knight started with the Diss Emporium in Norfolk in 2019, which they closed in January, however, due to rent increases.
