An ATG reader is trying to find information about this 'most unusual' silver spoon.
Using two different pieces of Victorian fiddle pattern cutlery (both with London marks but different dates and makers) it has been professionally worked to include a central joint that allows the bowl to pivot up and down.
I have shown this piece to a number of dealers and professionals but so far no one has been able to guess its precise function. Can the ATG readership do better?
