Page one includes inscriptions in pen by Dickens.
This book was part of The Dickens Exhibition in 1903, loaned by Shiers, and is offered with the original receipt for display signed by H Snowden Ward.
It was last sold via auction at the Corn Exchange in Sudbury, 1955, in a deceased house contents sale from the estate of Ms EDE Wellstead (sale catalogue present).
With some condition issues, the work is estimated at £1000-1500 in the Dawsons auction in Maidenhead on July 26.
