The selling exhibition follows the Royal Academy Souls Grown Deep Like The Rivers: Black Artists from the American South which ran from March 17 to June 18. Many of the artists in the RA show feature in The Gallery of Everything’s Southern Somebodies.

This comprises works by 26 artists.

Among the artists is Sam Doyle, whose paintings on corrugated tin “comprise an important and dynamic record of the history of the Gullah community of St Helena Island in North Carolina”.

The show runs until August 6 at the gallery in Chiltern Street, Marylebone, London. It will have a price range of £850-35,000.

The firm focuses on artists and makers “beyond the cultural mainstream”, from self-taught and art-brut to vernacular and other non-academic works from the 19th century to Contemporary art.
