Nature morte aux bouteilles, a Cubist still-life by Albert Gleizes, estimated at €30,000-50,000 at Ivoire Toulouse/Primardeco.
The 18 x 13¾in (46 x 35cm) oil on card from 1916, Nature morte aux bouteilles, signed and dated lower right, which is in the original white lacquer frame chosen by the artist, was purchased from Gleizes by Jules Vaché in 1948 and has passed down direct by descent.
The painting has been shown at a number of exhibitions through the years including the 1964 retrospective at the Salomon R Guggenheim Museum in de New York. It will estimated at €30,000-50,000 in Toulouse on June 15.
