A pile of secondhand books waiting for a vintage fabric makeover from Forget-Me-Not Originals.
These pop-ups are held at different venues in Surrey with the next on Saturday, September 23, at Myrtles Courtyard within the Hampton Estate in the Surrey Hills, near Farnham.
Emma Williams, who trades as Forget-Me-Not Originals, uses vintage textiles to recover secondhand books, some of them classics, as well as notebooks. She said: “The fabrics I use are reclaimed or vintage or reclaimed and all the books are secondhand with the paper in the notebooks coming from sustainable sources.”
Langley added: “I started the fairs in 2015 as a country homes and lifestyle fair that run seasonally in Surrey and I’m looking at having more regular fairs and pop-ups next year.”
