The next runs from Friday to Sunday, September 22-24 in Greenlands Park.

Wallis added: “We will definitely meet our 120-limited stands, the best line-up yet with bookings coming in daily.”

Plenty of familiar names appear on September’s exhibitor list including Restoration Queen, aka Sharon Ingoldby, an interior designer who credits the fair with making her top-end upcycling projects “really start to fly” after taking a stand in May 2021.

Known faces at this fair and as standholders elsewhere are decoratives dealers Lynda North, Nikki Page and Metro Retro plus some newcomers and dealers with arresting names such as Rock the Heirloom and Posh Pig Interiors.

Newcomers to the fair include White’s Antiques Collective which is based at The Vinery, an arts hub including several antiques dealers and furniture restorers just outside Arundel in West Sussex. White’s online shop offers this late 19th century Japanese 6 x 4ft (1.87 x 1.3m) hand-painted two-fold wall hanging screen depicting two Samurai on horseback (detail shown) priced at £650.

A trade-only morning runs on Friday September 22 from 9am till noon and the fair’s popular awards ceremony will run on the evening of Saturday 23 with live music and a late bar which all add to the festival atmosphere.
