Four landscape panel paintings by Jan van Goyen (1596-1656) represent different phases in his career.

From his early period come River landscape with sailing boat and barge, 1634, and River landscape with fisherman’s hut, 1638, estimated at SFr50,000-70,000 and SFr45,000-55,000 respectively.

Dune landscape with church, which is guided at SFr40,000-60,000, comes from his middle period.

River landscape with fishing boats of 1655, shown here, is from his later creative period, when marine paintings were the main focus of his work and is guided at SFr70,000 -100,000.

Jan Davidsz de Heem’s 19in x 2ft 1in (48 x 63cm) oil on panel still-life of 1647, estimate SFr300,000-400,000 at Koller.

Dutch still-lifes in the sale include works by Pieter Claesz, Pieter de Ring and Jan Davidsz de Heem (1606-84) who painted this impressive arrangement of a bowl of fruit, bread and lemons set on a wooden table in 1647.

It is guided at SFr300,000-400,000.
