Prize medals were awarded in Gold, Silver and Bronze – in much the same fashion as the Paris Salon.
The autumn 1900 instalment was advertised ‘The Year’s Art, 1900’ as taking place from October 1900 to January 31, 1901.
The National Art Library seems to hold a run of the descriptive catalogues for the 1895-99 shows but, frustratingly, not the 1900. However, I’m sure that a copy of this catalogue must exist somewhere.
