The portfolio consists of the Malvern Flea fair and the Malvern Antiques & Collectors’ Fair as well as the Antiques & Retro Fair at the RHS Malvern Spring Festival.

Big shoes to fill

B2B Events’ involvement with the Malvern fairs began in 2006 with owners Helen and Alan Yourston.

They described their decision to retire from the fairs circuit as bittersweet but “an exciting solution to allow the seamless continuance of some of the UK’s best and most successful fairs”.

Scadding said: “Helen and Alan’s reputation, hard work and dedication leaves a huge legacy and very big shoes to fill.”

B2B Events’ antiques and collectors’ fairs held at the Kent County Showground, near Maidstone, which was acquired in 2010 by the organiser from IACF, then DMG Antiques Fairs, was taken on last year by Love Fairs which runs antiques and vintage fairs at Brighton and Lingfied racecourses.

The next Malvern Flea under the new banner will run at the Three Counties Showground on Sunday, January 21.
