The call goes out at a JOS Events fleamarket in Shrewsbury.
JOS Events’ organiser Emma Jones made an interesting point about the triannual fleamarkets, saying: “We have seen the footfall increase massively since we changed it to a one-day event. We now get more visitors on the one day than we ever did when it was two even though trader numbers have reduced to around 40-60.”
The organiser’s other event is a two-day antiques fair held at the Oswestry Showground with the next on Saturday and Sunday, June 8-9, and here there are up to 150 traders.
