This Tunbridge Ware inkstand by Thomas Barton is ticketed at £1395 from Amherst Antiques, but is now available at £697.
Dianne Brick, who runs the dealership with her husband Ivor, launched the business in 1985. It is set to close in mid-April.
The firm initially had its own shop in Sevenoaks before closing doors in 2000 to concentrate on events such as Olympia and the NEC fairs. From 2007-20 it also had premises at The Edenbridge Galleries.
The Bricks now trade on the BADA website, where much of its stock is now for sale at half the displayed ticket price. As they prepare to close their doors the dealers say they would “like to thank those who have supported them so loyally”.
