A display at the inaugural Premier Glass Fairs.
This time around 50-plus dealers at this combined glass and ceramics fair will be hosted at the Cranmore Park Conference Centre in Birmingham.
Burtonshaw says: “I have dealers who will offer a mix of glass and ceramics and the glassmakers include Vic Bamforth, Siddy Langley, Stephen Foster and Twist Studio Glass.
“I also have two potters from Channel 4’s Great Pottery Throwdown, Sophie Wootton and Dave Short, coming and one talk is confirmed with Mark Hill offering Mark Takes Five when he discusses five dealers’ objects at the fair.”
Dealer Adam Fileman is bringing to the second edition this luscious emerald green and white overlaid 19th century Czech goblet, priced at £1200 plus 18th and 19th century wine glasses, table glass, ceiling lights, candlesticks and candelabra.
