These Meissen porcelain Kinderkopf busts lead a ceramics and glass sale at Chiswick Auctions on January 31 in London.
Dating to the 19th century, the busts measure 6in (15.5cm) high and are modelled as young girls wearing bonnets and costumes heightened in gold on raised rococo scroll bases.
Incised with the model numbers 2764 (3), they are estimated at £500-700.
A selection of uncirculated Queen Victoria Golden Jubilee gold and silver coins will go under the hammer on February 6-7 at 1818 Auctioneers in Milnthorpe, Cumbria.
This £5 sovereign was issued exclusively for one year only to mark the Golden Jubilee in 1887. It features the famous ‘Jubilee Head’ portrait introduced that year and one of only four sovereign portraits to appear on Victoria’s coinage during her 63-year reign. Made from solid 22ct gold, it is five times the weight of a standard sovereign and almost 1½in (4cm) in diameter.

Nearly 20 lots of intaglios and cameos, mostly from a single-owner collection and dating from the 18th and 19th century, are included in Woolley & Wallis’ jewellery sale in Salisbury on January 26.
This 2in (5cm) high carved agate cameo dates to c.1800 and depicts the profile of the Greek hero Hercules with short curled hair and beard and wearing his Nemean lion cloak.
