After a tense week awaiting the government’s announcement on November 25 about tier restrictions in England, Helen Martin of B2B Events has the green light for her flea and collectors’ market at the Three Counties Showground in Malvern on Sunday, December 13.

Pictured in August, B2B’s flea and collectors’ monthly market in Malvern will be running on December 13.

This promises to be busy, with 240 pre-booked pitches including drive-in sheds. Dealer Dan Carter is a regular standholder here and will be packing his stand in the Avon Hall with small antiques, vintage tins and motoring signs.

Carter has a particular passion for toffee tins which he both collects and sells. He said: “A friend at an antiques fair said he had some in his boot to show me. I said I don’t collect tins but I’ll have a look.

“When he opened the back of his car my jaw dropped as the tins were so beautiful with a combination of picture and text. I was hooked from that moment.”
