Ahead of the buzzy week, where upcycled clothes will probably dominate many of the designers’ agenda, the Clerkenwell Vintage Fashion Fair also returns – with safety measures – after an 18-month absence.
Despite the name, this in fact takes place in the Freemasons Hall, Covent Garden, on Saturday and Sunday, September 4-5.
The event’s founder, Savitri Coleman, said: “We’ll have 50 cherry-picked dealers offering vintage fashion, accessories, trimmings and textiles.
“On the make do and mend front, we have an on-the-spot alterations team to ensure your purchases fit like a glove.”
