1 How did you get your start?

Mark Weiss of the The Weiss Gallery rang me up one evening, while I was working late on a particularly gruelling catalogue deadline at Christie’s South Kensington in the Old Masters & British Pictures department. I went on to work for Mark for a decade.

2 What challenges are facing the trade in the coming months?

Keeping the momentum going from that glorious post-lockdown spending frenzy.

Portrait miniature dealer Elle Shushan is my definition of a lady.

5 Real ale or espresso martini?

I’m not a drinker but I can’t resist a good Bloody Mary!
