Vintage Japanese Hippari/ Noragi work jackets, are £80 to £95 each from Bleu Anglais.
Organiser Julia Dorrington, for the manor, said: “Due to a number of exhibitors uncertain about rising Covid cases we have taken the decision to postpone the summer fair but it will return in November this year.”
Noel Chapman of Bleu Anglais, a regular exhibitor at the Textile Society’s fairs, would have had a stand at the fair in July and will hopefully be there in November selling his 20th century Chinese and Japanese textiles.
Talking about the sourcing of stock, Chapman said: “Thankfully I’d had a very successful buying trip to China just before lockdown and I’ve always managed to buy from photographs from one of my contacts with the help of WeChat Translate. I now have a very good stock overall.’’
