So busy is she with commissions that an eight-week waiting list exists.
As an indication of a fair’s positive publicity for sellers, much of this demand Ingoldby puts down to the Henley Décor Fair in May where she had a stand.
“I think my work really started to fly after that. My stand stood out with all the bright colours and the fact that a piece of furniture potentially heading for landfill had been given an unexpected new lease of life.”
In her free time Ingoldby works on some innovative pieces which she posts on Instagram to attract a “new and exciting form of customer”.

Examples include a redesigned gramophone cabinet based on the album cover London Calling by The Clash, neon pink handpainted chairs for a beauty salon, (£150 the pair) graffitied mirrors (£300 each) for the unisex washroom in a Kent restaurant and a skull-decorated cocktail cabinet (£500).
“I will turn my hand to anything but the braver the client the better”, said Ingoldby.
