This is very similar to a torchère that was shown in the Coade Comfort Exhibition at the Chelminski Gallery, in London’s King’s Road. This was officially opened 22 years ago by Ms Alison Kelly, the celebrated author of Mrs Coade’s Stone, on the evening of September 11, 2001 (the day of the 9/11 attack).
