The north London event is provisionally booked for Sunday, June 9, and the deadline to get involved is January 31.

Paul Kelly, who relaunched the fair last year, says: “Many of last year’s exhibitors have responded but not all and we have 25 or so newbies who have made contact but we still urgently need more than 50 stallholders to support the June fair.”

Cost challenge

The one-day fair at Ally Pally costs an eye-popping £50,000-plus to put on and this is even more of a financial challenge when you consider that Kelly is the sole organiser with just a small support team.
