The Tatler magazine of the time commissioned him to create caricatures for publication. This is a hyperlink to posters now available of just a few of his works: http://bit.ly/2WazZz6. You will notice how bold and striking the colour works are. Autori was influenced by Italian Futurism of that time.
Details of more Autori works can be found on The Gilbert and Sullivan Society of Sussex website via this link: http://bit.ly/2wAYXNB
I have attached an image of an original work I own (above) but my research has led me to find very few other originals. Autori has almost no auction records despite producing a large volume of work at the highest level. I was wondering if any readers can help to locate ‘lost’ original works? His work has vanished – I cannot believe no other originals exist.
