Chiswick Auctions

Chiswick Auctions is a West London auction house with 20 specialist departments including fine art, furniture, jewellery, silver, wine, arms and armour, books and fashion. It holds regular specialist sales as well as a monthly design and interiors sales.

The firm is jointly run by William Rouse and Leigh Osborne. In 2017, Chiswick Auctions announced plans to open a South Kensington showroom manned by a group of former Christie’s staff.

The photographic firm he founded in 1847 continued under the management of his sons Heinrich and Wilhelm until 1921.
