Mander

Mander is an auction house based in Sudbury, Suffolk. It was launched in the 1970s in Clare trading under the name Dyson and Son but the business was later taken over by James Mander and renamed.

In 2013 the auction house moved to Newton on the outskirts of Sudbury.

Two mixed lots of Victorian dust-pressed tiles sold for multi-estimate sums at Mander (24% buyer’s premium inc VAT) in Sudbury on November 30. Key to their appeal were the inclusion of near sets of tiles made by Minton Hollins & Co to designs by Arts & Crafts luminaries.
