Swinderby Fair

Popular demand has prompted IACF to trial a two-day part-weekend antiques and collectors’ fair next month at the RAF Swinderby site.

International Antiques and Collectors Fairs (IACF) have announced three additional dates for 2013 at their Swinderby, Ardingly and Shepton Mallet events.

INTERNATIONAL Antiques and Collectors’ Fairs (IACF), the owners of the Newark and Ardingly showground events, have announced plans to hold a regular one-day fair at the RAF Swinderby site.

AMONG the first major casualties of the winter weather is IACF’s third fair at the RAF Swinderby site. With no permanent buildings at the airfield and the long-term forecast predicting the coldest winter for many years, the organisers have already announced the cancellation of the next fair scheduled for February 2-3.

IN Nottinghamshire from Saturday October 7 to Saturday October 14 , it’s one hectic week for antiques and collectors’ fairs. Buyers can spend the week rushing around nine venues on a mighty buying spree, including the Newark and Swinderby Fairs.

DMG Antiques Fairs have put up £350,000 for a new building at the Newark and Nottinghamshire Showground and secured the venue for another 20 years.

NEXT year Arthur Swallow Fairs’ International Antiques and Collectors’ Fairs at RAF Swinderby will be held almost a full week before the Newark fair.

SWALLOW Fairs say they will announce their dates for next year’s International Antiques and Collectors’ Fair at RAF Swinderby this Thursday.
