DEVON County Antiques Fairs, organisers of the largest circuit of antiques and collectors fairs in the Southwest, are cancelling two of their August fairs.

FAIRS are set to return to Alexandra Palace in North London, which for years was a favourite trade venue. The last Alexandra Palace fair was held on November 19, 2006.

SEAFAIR has postponed its second leg on America’s Eastern seaboard and returned to Florida to address mechanical issues encountered on the maiden voyage.

ELTHAM Palace in Greenwich is fully booked on Sunday, September 9 for its regular biannual Art Deco Fair with 15 specialist Deco dealers, including the Design Gallery of Westerham.

A two-week exhibition of contemporary furniture featuring the work of some of the north of England’s top makers and designers is to be held at The Auction Centre in Leyburn, North Yorkshire, from August 21-31.
