Olympia Fair
The London Olympia exhibition venue in Kensington was designed by Henry Edward Coe and first opened its doors in December 1886. It has hosted an annual summer art and antiques fair since 1972 which has been a fixture in the London art and antiques calendar ever since.
The event is currently run by Clarion Events who also organise the annual Winter Art & Antiques Fair at Olympia.
Vacant spring slot as Clarion scrap FORM
07 April 2008AFTER two stagings, Clarion Events, organisers of the Olympia fairs, have abandoned their new fixture FORM. In 2009, for the first time in 13 years, it looks likely that there there will be no Spring art, antiques or design fair at the West London exhibition complex.

21 December 2007At 3ft 21/4in (97cm) long, this exceptionally rare Scottish Highland two-hand sword or claymore dates to the third quarter of the 16th century. So rare is it, in fact, that no other example has appeared on the market in recent years.

18 June 2007Partridge Fine Art lost £250,000 worth of jewellery to thieves at the Summer Olympia Fair. The thieves struck at the dealers’ stand on Sunday afternoon, when four items were taken. The police were informed immediately and Partridge spokesman Oscar Humphries told ATG that they were hopeful of recovering the gems.
Owners deny ‘£420m sale of Olympia’
18 December 2006AT £420m, the deal would have brought St James Capital a 70 per cent profit on the £245m they paid for the complex just two and a half years ago. But it appears that last week’s London Evening Standard scoop on the sale of Earls Court and Olympia was, at the very least, a little premature.
Spring Olympia... back to FORM
23 October 2006CLARION Arts have named their Spring Olympia fair FORM.
Clarion Arts commit to Spring fair
