Dealers
Dealers come in all shapes and forms, from small sole-traders to powerhouse galleries. Both play an integral role in the art and antiques market.
They often specialise in a given fields such as jewellery, ceramics, paintings, Asian art or coins but there are also plenty of general dealers operating across different categories.

18 January 2017The first of the 2017 Ardingly fairs run by the International Antiques and Collectors Fair (IACF) opened yesterday on a chilly morning at the South of England Showground. The fair, which can host up to 1700 dealers, brings in stallholders and buyers from around the world. Yesterday was acknowledged to be a quieter fair but a number of stallholders saw a brisk trade.
